We have used onarchive. It is a bit kludgy. After you find all of the quirks
and get it running it is livable. Not to mention it and ontape is all that
informix will support.
You can avoid the 2GB filesystem limit by creating your volumes with a limit
of 2GB. When onarchive has written 2GB it will prompt you for a new volume,
at this point you simply enter a new path pointing to another filesystem.
