Can't you add to the thread without getting confused and going off on a tangent ? What does Informix spreading FUD concerning what is evaluated and what isn't have to do with any claim over the invention of row-level locking ??? Are you insinuating that I have made this claim ??? Maybe you should have included the rest of the thread and then it would be obvious who was spreading FUD on the topic of evaluations (which *was* the subject of this thread). FYI - I have included the start of the thread here: > > >Does INFORMIX-OnLine/Secure remain the > > >"only" RDBMS product with a successful > > >NCSC B1/C2 evaluation? (As I know, in > > >1994 Summer, it did.) In the Summer of 1994, Informix was one of two RDBMS vendors with C2 and B1 evaluated product(s). Informix and Oracle successfully completed their respective evaluations within weeks of each other - during spring 1994. Were you aware of that the claims made by Informix above were totally misleading and deserved to be clarified ??? > > -- > > Cheers, > > Billy > > ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- > INCLUDE "Disclaimer.4gh" -- my opinions are > INCLUDE "FlamesToDevNull.4gh" -- flamers, eat my shorts! > INCLUDE "CaveatEmptor.4gh" -- take my advice at your own risk > INCLUDE "ThirtySomething.4gh" -- header file for this class > > -- Written by : Billy Wheeler, Date: today > -- Copyright (c) 1995, The West Solutions Group
