DD_HASHSIZE,DD_HASHMAX, DS_HASHSIZE, DS_POOLSIZE

Hello list, Has anyone encountered either an absolute or practical upper limit to these parms? (excluding total memory requirements). I only recently got my databases updated with distribution statistics and much to my surprise encounter worst performance after the update. Many thanks to Art Kagel for his article on the Informix TechInfo center that enlighten me about these. Having a instance with 100,000+ active tables I will have to push these parms to the limit. Additionally, does anyone know the purpose of DS_HASHPOOL? I am running IDS 7.3.fc4 on a DEC ALPHA running 4.0D With 2 gigs of memory available for the engine. TIA, Rogers Patterson
