Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Hello.
In order to gain a better performace we would like to "PREPARE" the update
statements (usin 4GL).
But how to prepare a statement like:
UPDATE rms SET rms.* = r_rms.* where rms.rms_uniq = r_rms.rms_uniq
A prepare like
PREPARE abc FROM "UPDATE rms SET * = ? where rms.rms_uniq = ? "
produces sqlerror 201.
How to do this besides mentioning all columns ?
Tnanks
