automate continous logging

We are doing our transaction logging to a 4mm Dat drive. When we have our operators kick off a level 0 or level 1 archive they always change out the log tape at the same time. I'd like to automate this and get away from a lot of operator intervention. We are going to use Onbar with our Openvision software and use an MTI tape robot for our unix backups and Informix archives however I'm not sure how we could automate the continous logging. We have enough disk space to log to disk if needed. I would be interested in how others have automated this process. We are at 7.23uc1 on Hp-ux 10.20 Thanks in advance.. Ed edbid@cobe.com
