SCO was almost knocked off the porting list based on the lack of revenues that it generates. Of course this was back in Feb. and Informix has rethought that position. (Large number of installed sites.) It also reduced their ability to offer an intel based platform. (NT, Solaris being the other two options.) Don't panic yet. Keep in mind that if Informix did port, there are some technical issues that they will have to solve first, and the cost of conversion from SCO to Linux is relatively cheap. $50.00 for the OS CD then the cost of the port. And your time.... -Mikey -- #include <std_disclaimer.h> /* Mike Segel (MS385) */ #include <No_Spam.h> #ifdef OFFENDED_BY_CONTENT The author takes no responsibility for this post.
