Ditto, and another point, would it be possible for cdi/informix-list to automatically convert all incoming messages to text format, so that the rest of us don't have to worry about which software we are using ? You use reply-all to reply to the originator and the list and then get undeliverable mail messages. I would like to suggest to these people that they should stop complaining about how other people use facilities such as MIME. I'm not quite sure what is more infuriating, the user who asks for help with an invalid email address or all those users who send messages merely telling other people not to use MIME. Is there any way that we could run cdi/informix-list in such a way that either those users who want help provide no return address thereby forcing the replies only to go to informix-list, or we modify the gateway software and all messages are always distributed by informix-list@iiug on behalf of the user concerned. Then we could choose to email the user concerned and risk an undeliverable message, or just to reply to informix-list. So come on you internet anoraks out there. How should we be managing this list? regards Malcolm sending to informix-list ________________________________ << ella for Spam Control >> has removed 1106 Spam messages and set aside 199 Newsletters for me You can use it too - and it's FREE! www.ellaforspam.com sending to informix-list
