Informix Command Line
Posted in 1998
Hello,
I try to configure a PC (NT Workstation 4.0) to be able to run "Command
line Utilities" to access a database located on a different NT server.
Server NT 4.0 Client NT Workstation 4.0
Informix OLWS 7.22 Informix OLWS 7.22
\\\\SUMMITTECH
ol_summittech
I would like to be able to run onstat command (and other) from the
client and accessing the database on the server. To do that, I created a
new Setenv.cmd file with informations about my database server, but when
I try to run "onstat" from the command line, I obtain the message:
shared memory not initialized for Informix server 'ol_summittech'
Example of the setenv.cmd file
set INFORMIXDIR=C:\\INFORMIX
set INFORMIXSERVER=ol_summittech
set PATH=C:\\INFORMIX\\bin;%PATH%;
set INFORMIXSQLHOSTS=\\\\SUMMITTECH set DBTEMP=C:\\INFORMIX\\INFXTMP
set CLIENT_LOCALE=EN_US.CP1252
set DB_LOCALE=EN_US.8859-1 set DBLANG=EN_US.CP1252
Thank you for your help.
