From the Informix Administrator's Guide, under the onstat -u option:
"The number of active users and the maximum number of users allowed are
also indicated. The maximum number of concurrent user threads is
specified as USERTHREADS in the ONCONFIG file."
From the Informix Administrator's Guide, under USERTHREADS:
"USERTHREADS is the maximum number of threads available to work for
clients that access the database server. Each client is serviced by at
least one user thread, and more if the client requests a service for
which OnLine does parrellel processing."
My question is, given the scenario of 44 users, each having one active
thread, what is the distinction (or meaning of) "maximum number of
users"? How can 128 ever be achieved?
