Hi Chris. I would be interested in any comments that anyone might have to your message. Clearly it opens up some major issues. The outer join problem is something that I was not aware of until the recent messages on this forum. I would agree with you that this is a major issue since it goes to the heart of the reliability of the engine. If answers "may be" correct I think there is a major problem. Since this problem has been confirmed by others in the forum I would also be interested in any Informix response to this issue.
