Re: 4GL 7.32 on Linux

Well I got it ( sort of...) Once installed, IDS or 4gl, don't remember, cry for libncurses.so.4 After some investigation in /usr/lib I found I had libncurses.so.5 wich is a sym link to ../../lib/libncurses.so.5.3 What I conclude is that IDS or 4gl needed libncurses.so.4 but it wasn't there so I sym linked libncurses.so.4 to libncurses.so.5 and that did the trick... If I remember well... My actual curser libraries looks like: lrwxrwxrwx ... libcurses.so -> libncurses.so.5.3* -rw-r--r-- ... libncurses.a -rwxr-xr-x ... libncurses++.a* lrwxrwxrwx ... libncurses.so -> ../../lib/libncurses.so.5.3* lrwxrwxrwx ... libncurses.so.4 -> libncurses.so.5* lrwxrwxrwx ... libncurses.so.5 -> ../../lib/libncurses.so.5.3* lrwxrwxrwx ... libncurses.so.5.3 -> ../../lib/libncurses.so.5.3* After that both online, IDS and 4gl works on my linux box with no problem, Maybe this can help you.
