Re: Input about Motif Version of NewEra..

The case for NewEra on SCO is not only supported. It's a catastrophy from out point of view if it's not available reasonably soon. As we intend to use it for batch reporting/updating the Motif interface isn't the most important point for us. We need to be able to write programs that can run in the background. We would realy dislike having to continue using 4GL for this. Obviously we also want application partioning on SCO when that technolgy becomes available. As a small VAR that plan to become a big VAR how can we do that under these conditions. SCO is important for its price, and it now also scales very well. We don't need every platform in the world supported, but we have automatically assumed that when Informix announces support for their databases on a platform (like they have for SCO) it also includes the language products.
