I'm curious to see if any body has been having a similar problem to one that I am encurring. Currently we are running Online version 4.1 and I4gl version 4.0. We use BLOB for the storage of documents, created by WordPerfect 5.0 for UNIX, in a database. On occasion the text data is corrupted so that the document can not be retrieved correctly. By salvaging the corrupted text I have been able to identify that when the BLOB is passed back to Online, or when the BLOB is stored in the database, a different area of memory is grabbed as the text in the original document. That is the original document now contains stray 'segments' which I can track back to either another user's document or actual program text. Does anyone have experience in this matter? Thanking you in advance. Steve Wallick spw@ccd.harris.com 1-407-242-5126
