NewEra VCL Character Class

I will be developing a AIX character-based NewEra application using NewEra VCL Character v.1.01 when Informix finally delivers a working library. Has anyone successfully compiled/run NewEra applications using this product? So far, we've had no success in compiling with this library. Informix is working on a fix for the AIX platform. Any comments/tips/suggestions using this product would be welcome. john d.
