I did some restores in this version and is common to happens this. You can
help the kernel doing this... Praying!!!!!
This behavior is common.... you only have to wait.....

Hey everyone with an IDS 9.40 FC2X1 database I am doing a full ontape
restore
(ontape -r). At a certain point in the restore when I run onstat - I am
getting a message that CKPT REQ Blocked:CKPT I am confused by this. Do I
really need to force a checkpoint? What is this saying needs to be done?
