When trying to read blobs out of the database via remote connection with a java application, we receive the error: Error unmarshaling return header Writing blobs works fine, as well as anything else. The problem occurred after upgrading from INFORMIX-Object Interface for Java 1.04 to 1.05.UC1 Solaris 2.5.1 to 2.6 jdk1.1.3 to jdk1.1.5 IUS is 9.13uc3 With the old versions, the application works, but the rmi-server crashes frequently. Support said, upgrading should fix lots of the bugs leading to the crashes... tia Klaus
