Linker for RDS programs

All, does anybody know if there is a 'linker' out there that can be used to reduce the size of a 4gi program by removing unused functions. I have created a system where we build programs by cating the globals, libraries and program 4gos together to make a 4gi. The trouble is this makes a program 4 times larger than if we duplicate all common functions and build them as individual programs! If there is not one available, would anyone be interested in it?
