In ESQL's using INSERT statements we need to know the exact SQLSTATE [ number when the error happened becoz of DUPLICATE KEY or INSUFFICIENT- [ SPACE. I understand informix returns the SQLSTATE no < 0000 in both [ the above cases. We need two handle the above two cases differently [ in our application. Can somebody suggest how to handle this ? U can check sqlca.sqlcode value ...
