A slightly longer answer is that with connvoluted use of INPUT ARRAY you could do it but slowly, so still really no. You could write your own code using plain DISPLAY. This is not simple. So no again. You could use Dynamic 4GL, which I believe does this: one of the holy grails (can there be more than one?) of 4GL programmers. Scroll cursors have the advantage that they can have as many rows as will fit on your disk. DISPLAY ARRAY requires a fixed array in memory. In VM systems you can make this very big without incurring that much penalty but it is still a limit. Mind you, there is a psychological limit on the number of rows a user will be willing to scroll through which is probably lower than a tolerably large array size. -- Peter Lancashire Information Systems Specialist, Bayer plc Eastern Way, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP32 7AH, UK Tel: +44-1635-562258, Fax: +44-1635-562281 --- If all else fails, read the instructions AND the release notes.
