Estou Fazendo teste de tentar Instalar o Informix no Sistema Operacional Linux Debian 5 porém estou tendo problemas com o GLIBC_2.0 ao tentar subir o Informix, antes de dar sequencia neste testes gostaria de saber se alguem já exprerimentou usar o Informix com o Debian ... O porque estou querendo usar o Debian é pelo suporte ao FS ReserFs ou EXT4 disponivél direto no seu pacote de instalação

I don't have any ideas about the installation problems, but please note that you should NOT be using ReiserFS or EXT4 for database chunks! They are not safe nor will they perform reasonably for the kinds of access and demands that Informix Dynamic Server makes on a filesystem. This is true for all journaled filesystems. For database chunks you should ONLY be using EXT2 a very low overhead, non-journaled, filesystem. Art Art S.
