Seth, Didn't mean to dis you, mayhaps I should have used an explicit smiley or two. I get amused at the notion that Microsoft would have any interesting in buying Informix. It was inferred. Although (once again) I would be amazed if MS even tried to acquire Informix. There are lots of software opportunities here at the moment, although they are a tad bit limited as far as Informix work is concerned. David
