hello, For some reason, we now see a -857 error (Rowids do not exist on table) when running a select rowid against a temp table. We are on version 11.7.FC5 on AIX 6.1 There were no config nor version changes but it worked fine on friday and then started getting the error on monday - any ideas? thanks tom
If you have DBSPACETEMP set to multiple temp dbspaces, either in the ONCONFIG file or overridden by the users' environment, the engine will fragment/partition temp tables across all of them and partitioned tables do not have rowids. Is it possible that the value in DBSPACETEMP was changed? Art Art S.
