Good afternoon, I'm installing Art's myexport tool which relies on sqlcmd-86.00 utility. I have having an error with sqlcmd and sqlreload. I am running this on RedHat Linux AS 4.8 (kernel=2.6.9-78.ELsmp) and Informix version id IDS 10.00.FC9 for x86_64 bit. If you know of a fix for the error: sqlreload: error while loading shared libraries: libifsql.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Thanks for any assistance or insight with this error. Is your environmental variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH set to include that location? -----Original Message----- From: ids-bounces@iiug.org [mailto:ids-bounces@iiug.org] On Behalf Of Jonathan Smaby Sent: Thursday, September 10, 2009 4:08 PM To: ids@iiug.org Subject: SQLCMD v.86.00 error - libifsql.so cannot open.... Survey Says?? DING! Correct. Thanks for the answer.... I was using the env variable of SHLIB_PATH which does nothing for Linux. LD_LIBRARY_PATH did the trick. Thanks again Joe. Sincerely, Jonathan B. Make sure that $INFORMIXDIR/lib/esql and $INFOMRIXDIR/lib are in the exported environment variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH. As an alternative you could link sqlcmd statically so that it does not rely on the shared libraries. Art Art S.
