Re: Tuning kernel for Pyramid Nile
Posted in 1998
Yes, I have seen the suggested values in the release notes. However, I was
mostly interested if anyone was running on this platform (Pyramid Nile) and if
so, what they have done to the kernel to avoid problems. Specifically SHMXXX
and SEMXXX parameters.
We experienced an "Assertion Error" last week and I have yet to hear from the
hotline on the possible cause. The error log said there was a 'semop' error,
which leads me to believe the kernel needs to be retuned.
I have already made several kernel changes, but this trial and error is
costing us in down time during business hours.
