saving text greater then log size - what will happen ?

Online 5.x We have no blobspace, only dbspace. In dbspace we have tables with text type columns. We have 4MB logical log size. What will happen, if somebody (maybe root or informix) will try to save text larger then 4 MB, larger then logical log ? Can this cause logical log corruption ?
