INFORMIX BUG !!!

Hi Gurus, Today I have faced a strange problem. Some users was not being able to log in database. Online.log was showing following error: 10:06:45 listener-thread: err = -951: oserr = 0: errstr = dispatch: Incorrect ipassword or user dispatch is not known on the database server. 10:06:46 listener-thread: err = -951: oserr = 0: errstr = dispatch: Incorrectpassword or user dispatch is not known on the database server. 10:06:46 listener-thread: err = -951: oserr = 0: errstr = dispatch: Incorrectpassassword or user dispatch is not known on the database server. 10:07:27 listener-thread: err = -951: oserr = 0: errstr = dispatch: Incorrectpassword or user dispatch is not known on the database server. My senior told me it is a bug. If I delete that user a/c and again recreate it then the problem will be solved. I had done that way and at last that problem was solved. Could it be that password aging is in use on your server and that the user's password has expired on the server? This would explain why deleting and recreating the user's account solved the problem. Try resetting the password of that user on the server and see if the problem goes away. Alternatively, change the password expiration parameters in /etc/shadow (see "man shadow").
