Niether engine will get any work done because they are both too busy posting insults (unintelligible to the general public) at each others' data paths, especially at port 101. (For those who have no idea what I am referring to, both Informix & Big-O are along Highway 101 in Silicon valley. Some years ago Informix put up billboard ads just outside Oracle's headquarters. Big-O had to retaliate, of course.)
