And I'm sure your organization learned something from being down for a day. Either they can re-visit their dial-in policy, or they can expect to be down for a day when there are severe problems.... Or they can invest money in those fancy multi-processing machines and versions of OnLine which allow for (from what I hear) nifty and speedy parallel restore and get back OnLine faster when they are down. No matter how many caveats and how much training is out there, Informix will be blamed if tbzero is released and then used improperly. (Look at the number of people who don't even do proper backups - something supposedly elementary!) Sometimes the only appropriate fix is going to be restore from backup and if someone runs tbzero and ends up with a corrupt database and then gripes about it, who do you think is going to get the bad press coverage and the lawsuits?
