Re: passing variable into shell script variable in 4gl prog

To write to files in 4GL you can get any of several packages of 4GL io functions from the IIUG Software Repository. My package 4gltools_ak is one which provides many of the 'C' stream functions to 4GL including fopen, fclose, fflush, sprintf, snprintf, printf, and fprintf. Joe Huddleston's package cfuncts is another. Art S.
