Short-term database project: up to 100 hours @ $15.00, maximum of $1,500 total. Small N/P org requires upgrades to client tracking Dbase. Currently=FoxLan 2.0 for DOS, Seek to upgrade to Access for Win 3.1 or FoxPro v2.6 for Win 3.1. Needs: - Assess and advise feasibility to upgrade platform - ID (dis)advntg of each platform pertaining to SFVS' needs - Migrate - verify correct op of app after migration - create new data fields & tables - create new reports Additional considerations: Ability to send reports, dbfs etc. to corp office via ISDN/computer; manage back-ups and archive; distribution of data & prgms for installation and op at multiple sites. Qualifications: 6 mos + programming Access and/or Foxpro ability to write accurate docs tht are easy for novice to understand ability to work responsibily and unsupervised w/confidential info positive and self-motivated willingness to follow through with project, and availabe to "fine tune" if needed
