Informix Client SDK Installation Error

Hi, I am trying to install Informix Client 9.40 on a Windows 2003 server. The setup starts checking windows installer version, available space and after that when clicing the Next button to continue I get the following error "Could not determine if user has Administrator privileges". I have tried to install something else .Net odbc and it is fine. Has anybody faced something like that? Any solutions or suggestions? The Server has installed Microsoft SQL 2000 Server already. Hi What version of Informix Client are you attempting to install - 2.81, 2.90? From your question, the version you had quoted 9.40, does not apply to Client. Further, for client there is a Development product called ClientSDK and Runtime support product called IConnect. Can you provide the product details and what you are trying to setup, so that I can help you further? Thanks. Sundar. Hi, The problem was solved. Even though everything else packages (eg .Net ODBC, other applications) were installed on the specific server successfully the problem was only with the Informix Client (of all versions 3.8 ,3.7 ,3.4). Security Settings thru MMC were the expected, all Directory privileges were tha proper ones and the useres we were trying to install the Package were either Server's Administrators or they belonged to local Administrator Group. We were desperted and finally we decided to apply Windows 2003 SP1. After that everything was fine.
