If I turn on encryption in a HDR environment, how much of a delay per
transaction would I likely experience?
Thanks in advance ...
Take care.

Well - it's the 'ole "it depends"....
HDR replicates by transfering the log files to the secondary, not by
replaying replicated transactions. So the real question is "How much o=
f a
drag will HDR encryption cause?" And again -- "it depends".
If you are doing really high volume of logs -and are using HDR SYNC mod=
e -
and are using unbuffered logging, then there will probably be an impact=
.
This can be somewhat reduced by using either buffered logging and/or HD=
R
ASYNC mode.
