RE: Time flies

If setting the time BACK, suggest you force a checkpoint after a time change because your next checkpoint waits on the clock to reach a specific time = last checkpoint time + chkptintvl. If chkptintvl=300 (5 minutes) and you set time back 15 minutes, this will result in the interval being 20 minutes before the clock forces a checkpoint. Other functions, such as physical log 75% full, will continue to force a checkpoint. One's 5 minutes fast and one's 5 minutes slow. Does anyone know of any problems this might cause to the Informix servers running on each? thanks Neil
