I'm very worried by this definition, or maybe I just don't understand it. It looks like you only have one 1Gb disk (/dev/rre4c), with multiple links to it (permdbs, permdbs2, permdbs3, etc.). If this is the case, and your other chunks are working, then the permissions should be okay on the underlying disk. However, you only need one link to each physical disk. It becomes a lot easier to get confused with offsets and sizes with multiple links to the same device. An onstat -d output would clear that up for us.
