onstat -g dis output shows 5 servers, but only 2 unique Server Numbers

When I run onstat -g dis, it shows "There are 5 servers found". However, there are only 2 unique Server Numbers and 2 unique onconfigs. There should only be 2 total and only one should be up, however it shows that 4 of them are up. Only the last one should be up (see output below). I started looking at this because earlier today, my isql session started hanging for no apparent reason and another user started getting a -329 (Database not found) error when he tried to start one. This only happened briefly and some (but not all) processes running got similar errors. There was nothing of note in the log file and onstat - showed the database was perfectly fine when this was happening. I'm not sure if the onstat -g dis output is cause for concern or not. I notice that in $INFORMIXDIR/etc there are 5 .conf files corresponding to the 5 servers and 4 .infos files corresponding to the ones which are supposedly "Up". Is what I'm looking at just a result of sloppy administration and not cause for concern? (The old machine - way back, who knows when was called xxxxxa at one time). If it's not cause for concern, any idea on the weird behavior which started me looking at this?
