Forum Subect Line Query

One for who ever looks after the forums at IIUG. Why does the forum system insist on attaching a numeric suffix in square brackets on the end on all subjects. Even if one is using an e-mail reader capable of organising like subjected mail into threads, this feature prevents such threading for forum mails. In light of recent postings regarding quoting previous messages, inhibiting this suffix may not be a panacea but would offer a modium of help to some people. Keith
