Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Sergio Peres could not get informixHQ working with Informix 14.10; the agent installed but the server showed offline, and he asked about the database setup and logs. Alexandre Marini pointed him to the HQ manual. Sergio had read it, mentioned using onsocssl, and still asked how to find logs. Unresolved.

I have done the instalattion of the agent with success, but now it is saying
that the server is offline. Considering that on the previous version there was
necessary to create one database for server, the process is the same?
And what name for the database show I use?
Thanks for any help,
SP

Hi Alexandre,
Thanks for your reply, I have already seen those manuals that are very good,
anyways I still have the problem...
Concerning I am using onsocssl for the same server I am using for testing,
there are any special configuration requirements for this kind of connection?
I have specified only initialAdminPassword on my server config file, and only
get the client working after running the wizzard from the menu.
But the server always appear offline!
There is any way to get the logs? How can I identify specific detais about
this errors, concerning that the STDOUT is some ambiguous??
Best regards,
SP
