Hi, Who/what is "tristarm"? Interesting items in the latest Informix documentation...some developers local repository path leaked out in the docs? A consequence of the new automated packaging during the release process which includes auto-generated release/machine notes? I would be interested if the installer put default onconfig files in some path under /view !!! :->>> [1]https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSGU8G_12.1.0/com.ibm.r elnotes.doc/notes/ifx_1210xc9/mach/ids_machine_notes_12.10.linux-x86_6 4.html - MACHINE SPECIFIC NOTES FOR IBM Informix Database Server 12.10.FC9 PRODUCT RELEASE On Linux x86_64 "The IBM Runtime Environment, Java Technology Edition, Version 7.0 release is installed in /view/eo-ids12.10.FC9-o-lxvm-l172/vobs/tristarm/sqldist/extend/krakato a/jre" "The default onconfig.std file is in the /view/eo-ids12.10.FC9-o-lxvm-l172/vobs/tristarm/sqldist/etc directory." This is leakage of build artifacts. It should refer to $INFORMIXDIR rather than its expanded value. The name âtristarmâ was the name of a VOB (versioned object base from ClearCase) for the âtristarâ project , and was based in Menlo Park (as opposed to âtristarpâ, based in Portland). The Tristar project (release of Informix) was completed many years ago â in the mid-1990s. But some names live on âforeverâ.
