dbexport problem

Hi Assistance please I am regularly running a dbexport routine. Sometimes the date formats appear in UK format - dd/mm/yyyy and others they appear in US format - mm/dd/yyyy Can anyone offer an explanation as to why this is, and what may cause it. And how can I assure it always comes out in one format
