Esqlc Question:-
Any one know how to stop the esqlc compiler complaining about variables
sizes when use is made of alias libraries.
This stems from, in our case, compiling Oracle, Tuxedo, Informix, Uncle
tom cobley un all from Esql. Understandably Esql will not be able to
resolve some variables, and quiet properly complains, but there seems to
be no way of stopping this. In this case, hundreds.
Not wanting to miss a warning from a genuine complaint it is difficult to
find a way to compile without heavey compile out analysis! I am sure we
are not the first to run into this problem, as getting inter-dbs C
programs must now be common place.

The C programs in questions are targeted at Sequent's: -
$ uname -a
DYNIX/ptx cox94 4.0 V4.4.2 i386
$ esql -V
INFORMIX-ESQL Version 7.23.UC1Software Serial Number AAC#J13
$}
Any Idea's ?
