Sorry to chime in late, but I missed the beginning of this. Can you give me the original details again? Thanks, Mark ________________________________ From: "nezreli@gmail.com" <nezreli@gmail.com> To: informix-list@iiug.org Sent: Wednesday, February 11, 2009 2:54:25 AM Subject: Re: connecting to Informix 11.5 from .NET error > Hi > > Try to set this enviroment variable in client side: GL_USEGLU=1 > > Vagner I have tried it but it didn't work. I have tried setting it in the same process, created it as user variable and then as system variable.. I'm using DB2 9.5 IBM.Data.Informix.dll ver. 9.0.0.2 to connect to informix ids 11.5 database that is run on Suse Linux 11. I can connect to it but after executing my first sql query I get following error: ERROR [IX000] [IBM][IDS/UNIX32] SQL0969N There is no message text corresponding to SQL error "-23104" in the message file on this workstation. The error was returned from module "IFX11500" with original tokens "". SQLSTATE=IX000 -23104 Error opening required code-set conversion object file. Database locale is set to cs_cz.8859-2. My app is running on Windows XP. dotNet applications are always unicode so I'm thinking that driver doesn't know how to convert result chars to unicode. Can you help me?
