Look back in the IIUG Archive of this newsgroup. There were a flurry
of posts a week or two ago about using IDS on a 2.2.x kernel. Yes you
will have to update the number of file handles but the patch will not
work since those source modules have been rewritten. Someone posted
the source changes, only a few value assignments, that need to be made
to the 2.2 source.
