Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

I am writing some code in ESQL/C that includes a call to fork().
What I have found in the ESQL/C Programmer's Manual tells me to call
sqldetach() in the son-process to open a new DB connection based on
the previous connection. The manual adds nothing to this...
I do a start database in the son-process after the call to
sqldetach(). The other process continues processing other statements
concurrently.
What happens is that after some ESQL processing in background I get
syntax erros in the same statements that were successfull before.
I get error (-201) (OPEN CURSOR) ???
I would like to know if someone has been through the same problems.
Thank you
