Thanks for that one Jacques. I will implement the minimum to start off
with. ( 800kb per cpu ).
I have tested on a demo instance that it does in fact seem to work on my
version.

It should work with your version although it's off by default.
xC6 got famous by changing this. Please check

You can change it dinamically with onmode {-wm|-wf} VP_MEMORY_CACHE_KB=xxx
Check the docs and experiment in development.
Regarding your last question... The answer is not short...
Once again, I could try to tease Mark Jamison... He has a very nice
presentation about several cache management... Not sure if it went public or not...
