Area # 1 comp.databases.informix 06-30-94 23:17 Message # 2 From : TMLEE To : ALL RCVD Subj : Porting to DOS-Dev Tools Hello fellow netters, I am currently using Informix Online on a Pyramid Computer (Unix) and would like to know what software is available (free or not) that can be used in a development environment using Borland C v4.0 under Dos 6.2. Specifically, I want to be able to unload/extract specific data from on-line to a PC version of my database. The PC version would perform normal SQL functions (select, update, delete, etc) as if the user were on-line. So, I think I either need some development tool that supports Informix database standards or some library that can be incorporated into C code. Does this exists. Any assistance in locating 3rd-party vendors or software would be greatly appreciated.
