For optimal performance with .Net, use the native .Net provide from IBM Client-SDK 2.81UC3. (http://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/download/search.jsp?go=y&S_TACT=TrialsAndB etas&S_CMP=&s=&q=2.81.TC3). Or use the latest version of the OLE DB driver with any C-SDK 2.81. It was re-written for 2.81 and is much improved.
