Problem after installing I-Star

We have an AIX 3.2.5 system with Informix-OnLine Version 5.01.UD2, Informix-4GL Version 4.11.UC2 and Informix-SQL Version 4.11.UC2. After installing Informix-Star 5.03.UC2 ISQL transactions run normally, but 4GL transactions hang. tbstat -u shows that the hung transactions have a status of X - waiting for a long transaction rollback. We are not using I-Star at this point - we are just installing it so that we can begin to use it later.
