I work in Informix, but not by choice. In a DOS environment, I use ASdvanced Revelation. THe company has a greedy attitude towards $$, but the product is excellent. Anything you can do with Informix, you can do more easily and better with ARev. The only exception is SQL. The ARev implementation appears to be less complete (SQL is NOT the primary query ;anguage for ARev). I recommend taking a look if you are serious about databases on PCs that hjave good support for LAN environments. chad price price@cse.unl.edu
