I am currently in the process of porting my entire system from a Pyramid Platform to a Sun E5000. I would like to setup Solaris 2.6 on the Machine. I have ordered ODS 7.23 for Solaris 2.5.1. Are there any issues if 7.23, or 4GL, ESQL, SQL, etc. is to be installed ontop of Solaris 2.6. Also SUN claims that Solaris 2.6 has been tuned to Database Applications. Does anyone know specifically what these enhancements are, and which features of ODS it improves upon.
