Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Gentian Hila wanted an inexpensive SQL and schema viewer for IDS 11.50 on 64-bit Windows 7, since WinSQL failed with the 64-bit ODBC driver. Dirk Gunsthovel suggested DbVisualizer or using the 32-bit ODBC driver; Doug Lawry suggested SQuirreL SQL. Solved: the 32-bit driver and 32-bit ODBC manager made WinSQL, OAT and DbVis all work.

Is there any utlity that I could use to run SQL and see the schema on
an IDS11.50 from windows 7 64 bit version either free or for little
money.
dbaccess is not good enough to see results
I have had xp so far and used Winsql which is relatively cheap but
it's not working anymore with the 64 bit ODBC driver and AGS Server
Studio is a bit expensive for me.
Any suggestion please?
Thank you,
I prefer dbvis... but if you like winsql and the only problem is
the 64 bit driver why dont you use the 32 bit odbc instead?
It works ...

I got Winsql, OAT and DBvis all working. Sure OAT and DBVis give you
quite a bit more.
Yes, the key was to use the 32 bit driver and 32 bit ODBC manager
instead of the 64 bit manager.
New to windows 7 64 bit!
The only benefit of Winsql is that you can update based on the results
you get and it exports to excel as well. Maybe the others do but I
haven't figured out yet.
Thank you everyone,
